  1. APPLICATION OF THESE TERMS

These terms apply when you:

• Visit or use our website
• Submit an order through our online store
• Purchase products from us
• Use any related services or features we provide

By submitting an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms together with our Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.

If you are purchasing on behalf of a company, partnership or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to place the order and bind that organisation.

Nothing in these terms limits or removes any statutory rights available to consumers under UK law.

  1. CONSUMER AND BUSINESS CUSTOMERS

You are a consumer if you purchase products wholly or mainly for personal use and not for purposes connected with your trade, business, craft or profession.

You are a business customer if you purchase products wholly or mainly for use in connection with a trade, business, craft or profession.

Certain provisions of these terms apply differently to consumers and business customers. Where this happens, the relevant section will make this clear.

  1. WEBSITE USE

You may use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

• Use the website fraudulently or unlawfully
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems
• Introduce viruses, malicious software or other harmful material
• Interfere with the operation or security of the website
• Scrape, copy or reproduce website content for commercial use without permission
• Submit false, misleading or inaccurate information
• Place orders using payment details you are not authorised to use

We may suspend access, cancel an order or report activity to the appropriate authorities where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse or unlawful conduct.

  1. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images and prices are accurate.

Product images are provided for illustration. Packaging, labels, colours and minor design details may vary where manufacturers update their products without notice.

Measurements, capacities, weights, performance information and technical specifications may be approximate unless expressly confirmed in writing.

You must check the product description, size, specification, compatibility and intended application before ordering.

If you require a product for a specific machine, vehicle, engine, process or safety-critical application, please contact us before ordering and provide all available identification information.

This may include:

• Manufacturer
• Model
• Serial number
• Engine number
• Original part number
• Dimensions
• Photographs
• Intended application

Any assistance we provide with product identification is based on the information supplied by the customer. The customer remains responsible for checking suitability before installation unless we have expressly confirmed compatibility in writing.

Nothing in this section affects your rights where a product is faulty, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

  1. PROFESSIONAL AND INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS

Some products sold by CRS are intended for professional, workshop, engineering, automotive, agricultural, plant or industrial use.

Products must be:

• Selected for the correct application
• Installed and used by a suitably competent person
• Used in accordance with manufacturer instructions
• Used with appropriate personal protective equipment
• Stored, transported and disposed of safely
• Inspected before use

Safety instructions, product labels and applicable safety data sheets must be read and followed.

We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by misuse, unsuitable selection, incorrect installation, modification, failure to follow instructions or use outside the product’s intended purpose, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

  1. PLACING AN ORDER

Products may be placed in your basket and submitted through our online checkout.

Before completing payment, you will have an opportunity to review your order, delivery address, delivery charge and total price.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

• Your order is accurate
• Your contact details are correct
• Your delivery address is complete
• You are authorised to use the selected payment method
• The products are suitable for your intended application

Please correct any errors before submitting your order.

  1. ORDER ACCEPTANCE

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase products from us. An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch of the products or otherwise expressly accept the order.

We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch where reasonably necessary, including if:

• A product is unavailable
• A price or description contains an obvious error
• Payment cannot be authorised
• Fraud or misuse is suspected
• Delivery is unavailable to the address supplied
• A product is subject to legal, safety or supplier restrictions
• The order exceeds available stock or delivery limits

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the affected amount to the original payment method.

  1. AVAILABILITY

All products are subject to availability.

Stock information may occasionally be incorrect because of simultaneous orders, stock-counting differences, supplier availability or technical delays.

If an ordered product is unavailable, we may:

• Contact you with an estimated availability date
• Offer a suitable alternative
• Dispatch available items separately
• Cancel and refund the unavailable item

We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

  1. PRICES AND VAT

Product prices are displayed in pounds sterling.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, product prices displayed on the website are exclusive of VAT. Applicable VAT and the final amount payable will be displayed before payment is completed.

Delivery charges are calculated separately and displayed during checkout.

We may change prices at any time, but changes will not normally affect orders already accepted.

If a price is clearly incorrect because of an administrative or technical error, we are not required to supply the product at the incorrect price. We will contact you and allow you to proceed at the correct price or cancel the item for a full refund.

  1. PAYMENT

Payment must be made using a payment method available during checkout.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that:

• The details supplied are complete and accurate
• You are authorised to use the payment method
• Sufficient funds or credit are available
• The payment is not connected with fraudulent or unlawful activity

Payments are processed through Shopify and the payment providers made available in our checkout. We do not normally receive or store complete payment-card details.

An order may be delayed or cancelled if payment is declined, reversed, disputed or subjected to additional verification.

  1. DELIVERY

Delivery is subject to our Shipping Policy.

We currently accept online orders for eligible addresses in Great Britain. Other destinations are not available through the standard online checkout unless agreed separately.

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless expressly confirmed as guaranteed in writing.

A delivery service described as “next day” refers to the carrier service used after dispatch and does not necessarily mean that an order will be dispatched on the day it is placed.

Heavy, oversized and palletised goods may require suitable access, unloading space and unloading equipment.

  1. CONSUMER CANCELLATION AND RETURNS

Consumers purchasing online normally have a legal right to cancel eligible orders within 14 days of receiving the goods. After notifying us, the goods must normally be returned within a further 14 days.

We also offer a voluntary return period of up to 30 days for eligible standard-stock products, subject to the conditions in our Return and Refund Policy.

Exceptions may apply to certain custom-made, personalised, modified or inseparably mixed products.

Full information about cancellations, return conditions, delivery costs and refunds is contained in our Return and Refund Policy.

Nothing in these terms affects a consumer’s statutory rights.

  1. BUSINESS RETURNS

Business and trade customers do not receive statutory consumer cancellation rights.

Returns of correctly supplied business orders require our prior written approval.

Approved products must normally be unused, uninstalled, complete, in resalable condition and returned within 30 days.

Special-order, non-stock, customised or modified products cannot normally be cancelled or returned by business customers unless they are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

  1. FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

Products must be inspected as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If a product is faulty, damaged, incomplete, incorrectly supplied or not as described, please contact us promptly with your order number and details of the issue.

We may ask for photographs of:

• The product
• The packaging
• The shipping label
• Any visible damage
• Relevant part numbers or identification markings

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may offer repair, replacement, collection or refund.

Do not continue using or installing a product after discovering a suspected fault unless necessary for safety.

  1. TITLE AND RISK

For consumer orders, responsibility for goods passes to the customer when they are delivered into the customer’s physical possession or to a person identified by the customer to receive them.

For business customers, risk passes when the goods are delivered to the delivery address or collected by the customer or the customer’s carrier.

For business customers, legal ownership of goods remains with CRS Supplies & Services Ltd until all amounts due for those goods have been paid in full.

  1. MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES

Some products may include a manufacturer’s warranty.

Manufacturer warranties are subject to the manufacturer’s own conditions and may require:

• Proof of purchase
• Product registration
• Correct installation
• Evidence of maintenance
• Inspection or testing
• Return of the affected product

A manufacturer’s warranty is additional to, and does not replace, any rights available under applicable law.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY—CONSUMERS

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Defective products where liability cannot legally be excluded
• Breach of statutory consumer rights

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for business losses suffered by a consumer, including loss of profit, revenue, production, contracts or business opportunity.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY—BUSINESS CUSTOMERS

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to this, for business customers:

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss
• We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, production, contracts, business, data, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings
• Our total liability relating to an order will not normally exceed the total amount paid for the products giving rise to the claim

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or where we have expressly accepted a different level of liability in writing.

  1. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

These may include:

• Carrier disruption
• Severe weather
• Flood, fire or accident
• Industrial action
• Fuel or transport disruption
• Supplier failure
• Import or customs delays
• Government restrictions
• Power, telecommunications or internet failure
• Cyberattack
• Epidemic or public-health emergency

We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and contact affected customers where appropriate.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The content of this website, including text, design, graphics, logos, photographs and original material, belongs to CRS Supplies & Services Ltd or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Manufacturer names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on our website does not imply ownership by CRS.

Website content may not be copied, reproduced, republished or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

  1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our website may contain links to manufacturer websites, payment providers, delivery companies or other third-party services.

We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.

Use of a third-party service may be subject to separate terms and policies.

  1. PERSONAL INFORMATION

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data-protection law.

Shopify provides the ecommerce platform used to operate our online store. Payment providers, carriers and service partners may also process information where necessary to complete orders and provide services.

  1. REVIEWS AND CUSTOMER CONTENT

If you submit a product review, photograph, comment or other content, you confirm that:

• The content is accurate and relates to your genuine experience
• You have the right to provide it
• It does not infringe another person’s rights
• It is not unlawful, abusive, defamatory or misleading
• It does not contain malicious software or confidential information

We may moderate or remove content that breaches these requirements.

  1. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our business, website, products, services or legal obligations.

The version that applies to an order is normally the version published when the order is submitted.

The latest revision date will be shown at the top of this policy.

  1. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

  1. WAIVER

If we do not immediately enforce a right under these terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right.

  1. THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS

Unless expressly stated otherwise, no person other than the customer and CRS Supplies & Services Ltd has any right to enforce these terms.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also have rights under the mandatory laws applicable where you live.

Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts permitted under applicable consumer law.

Business customers agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
